Kan Colle, Love Live! Sunshine!!, Fate/stay night, and more.
Yesterday was Valentine’s Day, that special time of year when couples go the extra mile for a romantic evening together and when singles go the extra mile to stop being single. It’s celebrated in Japan too, although there it is especially centered around women giving chocolates to men they associate with — although romantic activities are part of it too.
Here are the top Valentine’s messages from the anime, manga, and Japanese gaming world:
Durarara!!×2
Kana Hanazawa (Anri) and Toshiyuki Toyonaga (Mikado)
It’s also the birthdays of Kururi and Mairu.
Shinji shows off the booty he got from Tōsaka.
Flying Witch
Eri Suzuki (Chinatsu Kuramoto) and Minami Shinoda (Makoto Kowata) show off “witch’s fingers” cookies, although they think they’re disturbingly realistic.
Hanayamata
Is the order a rabbit?
Kan Colle fans are also treated to special Valentine’s voice messages and chocolates from these ships.
The Aquors girls each recorded a different Valentine’s message for their fans. They can be listened to here.
Today is the conclusion of this exhibit’s run in Sapporo.
Ozmafia!!
Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign
It’s the birthday of Aoi (Mitsuba’s older sister). She says she’d rather give chocolates to Kureto than have a birthday party.
Mutta declares his love on his Twitter page… his love for space.
